Com o intuito de fornecer subsidios aos professores para a leitura critica de poemas em sala de aula, o presente estudo centra-se na analise estilistica de aspectos da musicalidade expressiva na “antipoesia” de Augusto dos Anjos. No conjunto de uma obra poetica em que os principais temas flertam com a figura da morte e colocam em relevo o processo de decomposicao fisica dos seres vivos, o poema “A um mascarado” serve-se de tecnicas musicais de escrita que demonstram a motivacao do signo, pelo menos no âmbito da linguagem finamente manejada por esse autor que abraca diversas correntes literarias. Em sala de aula, a leitura desse poema permite levar o jovem aprendiz a fruicao do prazer de decodificar enigmas e explorar os limites intangiveis da linguagem, no que se refere a expressividade estetica da variante brasileira da lingua portuguesa. O presente estudo retoma, aprofunda e ilustra ideias propostas nos principais artigos criticos sobre a obra poetica de Augusto dos Anjos. SIGN MOTIVATION AND ANTI-POETRY IN AUGUSTO DOS ANJOS: A MUSICAL EXPRESSION OF EXISTENTIAL DISCOMFORT Aimed to subsidize teachers while working on poetry within the classroom, this paper is focused on the expressive musicality and the stylistic aspects of Augusto dos Anjos “anti-poetry”. In the whole ensemble of a poetic work whose main subjects flirt with the figure of death and thematize the organic material decomposition of living beings, the poem “A um mascarado” unfold musical writing techniques that could demonstrate the motivation of signs, at least through this language finely managed by un author that brings forth many literary trends in his poetic work. In the classroom, the reading of such a poem allows to lead students towards the enjoyment of decoding poetic enigmas as well as exploring the language intangible edges, as far as the aesthetic expressivity of Portuguese language (mainly trough its Brazilian variant) is concerned. This paper revisits, extends, and illustrates ideas proposed by the main critical readings on Augusto dos Anjos poetry.
