ResumoAptamer advantages: Cell-specific delivery of the anticancer drug cisplatin through a nucleolin-aptamer-conjugated, cisplatin-encapsulating liposome delivery system is described. Calcein was incorporated into the target MCF-7 cells (see top image) but not into LNCaP cells (see bottom image). More importantly, the extent of delivery can be controlled by using a complementary DNA of the aptamer as an antidote.
