Summary. The author gives a resume of the symptomatologi of gargoy‐lism. 6 cases are reported. 5 of them belong to the same family. All of these are boys and none of them had cloudy cor‐neae. A pedigree shows that the affection is inherited from a healthy mother and is probably sex‐linked. The author therefore believes that it is justified to set up a special sex‐linked type of gargoylism where the corneae are normal.
