ResumoBackground. Measures of aortic stiffness—aortic pulse wave velocity (PWV) and augmentation index (AIx)—have been shown to be powerful predictors of survival in adult haemodialysis (HD) patients. Very few data have been reported regarding arterial stiffness in paediatric renal populations.
