Resumo

In the United States, sunlamp products are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The American Academy of Dermatology Association (AADA) is a leading organization in educating the general public on photoprotection. The American Society for Photobiology is the world's largest society devoted to the field of photobiology. This symposium was organized at the request of the FDA to provide a forum for communication and discussion between the FDA and the aforementioned scientific societies.
