Hannan New York State Department of Health Edward L. Hannan is Director of the Bureau of Health Management Standards for the Office of Health Systems Management, New York State Department of Health. He is on leave from his position as Associate Professor of Management at Florida International University. He received a B.S. in mathematics from Union College, an M.S. in mathematics from Syracuse University, an M.S. in operations research from Union College, and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of TIMS, ORSA, AIDS, and SIAM and has published articles in Decision Sciences, Management Science, Journal of the Operational Research Society, and several other professional journals.Search for more papers by this author Edward L.
