
Microflora vaginal de búfalas durante a atividade reprodutiva e produtiva

ResumoThe microbial fíora frorn 352 vaginal swabs from 22 buffaloes cows was studied. From the bacterial cultures performed, 168 (47,73%) showed positive results with isolation of one or more microrganisms, and the remainder 184 (52,27%) were negative. The following microrganisms were identified in the genital mucosa of buffalo cows independently of the reproductive or productive cycle: Alcaligenes faecalis, Bacillus sp, Corynebacterium sp, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella sp. Micrococcus sp, Proteus sp, Staphylococcus sp, Staphylococcus aureus, hemolitic Staphylococcus, Streptococcus sp, hemolitjc Streptococcus and hemolitic Streptococcus.
