Water resources management and optimization

Programs and activities are under way around the world that directly address the assessment, allocation or conservation of water resources. Improving water governance includes more efficiently managing available water resources and current and anticipated water uses, and informing water users, stakeholders and decision makers about the consequences of actions taken (or not taken) to address such issues.
