ResumoOn July 7th 2005 a series of terrorist bombs exploded in London. The transport system was targeted and at least 54 passengers were killed and around 700 injured. This paper describes the immediate pre-hospital medical response to the four scenes. From the perspective of the London Helicopter Emergency Medical Service the deployment, difficulties on scene and the initial lessons learned are discussed.
