ResumoOrange juice appears to be a good dietary supplement for folic acid. The fresh orange juice or frozen concentrated orange juice [See table in the PDF file] both have relatively high levels of folic acid, with 100 to 250 ml of the juice supplying the usual adult minimum daily requirement. It would, therefore, appear also to be a reasonable and stable dietary supplement for people needing additional amounts of folate, but would not replace oral folic acid tablets for treatment of frank folate deficiency.
