Journal Article ‘Comedias armónicas a la usanza de Italia’: Alessandro Scarlatti’s music and the Spanish nobility c.1700 Get access José María Domínguez José María Domínguez José María Domínguez is a PhD student at the Complutense University in Madrid, having graduated in flute from the Royal Conservatory in 2007. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis entitled Musical patronage of the IX Duke of Medinaceli: Rome-Naples-Madrid, 1687–1710 with a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
