It is shown that the majority of problems concerning the sysnthesis of mechanisms can be formulated as a nonlinear programming problem. The synthesis of mechanisms thus ceases to be a narrow and isolated scientific field but becomes part of a broad sphere of science encompassing areas obviously very distant such as economy, military science, automation, cybernetics and others. The solution of problems in mechanism synthesis then allows the application of algorithms verified and utilized in these scientific fields and vice versa thus imparting to the results achieved in the theory of mechanisms a far broader availability. Die Mehrheit der Probleme bezüglich die Getriebesynthese kann als ein nicht-lineares Programmierung-Problem formuliert werden. Die Getriebesynthese bleibt also nicht mehr ein enges und isoliertes wissenschaftliches Feld, sondern wird ein weites Gebiet der Wissenschaft, das weit entfernte Teile umfasst, wie Volkswirtschaftslehre, Kriegswissenschaft. Automatisierung, Kybernetik und andere. Die Lösung der Probleme in der Getriebesynthese gestattet die Anwendung der Algorithmen, die kontrolliert sind und angewandt werden in diesen wissenschaftlichen Gebieten und umgekehrt, so dass die erriechten Erfolge der Getriebesynthese weitere Anwendungsmöglichkeiten haben.
