Resumo

Abstract: N ‐Acetyl‐L‐aspartic acid was identified and determined in human cerebrospinal fluid. The concentration in lumbar fluid was about 2 nmol/ml and about 20 nmol/ml in ventricular fluid. There was no difference between healthy subjects and schizophrenic patients.
