Resumo

Mobility of the cadmium in Soils cultivated with wheat in Tangua, Narino, Colombia. To test the cadmiun mobility in soils cultivated with wheat some soils core samples with an auger of 11 cm in diameter and 40 cm in length were taken. On these soil samples, 0, 50, 100 and 150 ppm cadmium were applied, and they were incubated during a 4 – month period under field capacity later, the content of total cadmium and interchangeable Cd in the higher, median and lower part of nuclei was tested. The total cadmium contents in control does not overcome the permissible limits established by OMS-FAO wich is 3 ppm cadmium. The highest concentration of cadmium applied in the way of total Cd and interchangeable Cd was found in the higher third part of nuclei, which indicates a low mobility of the element in the soil profile.
