Subterranean biodiversity and taxonomy

The larval and post‐larval development of Percnon gibbesi , from a combination of laboratory‐reared and plankton‐caught material, is described, and larval characters within the Plagusiinae are discussed. The synonymy of Percnon and Pluteocaris is established.
