Investigation about the preservation and conservation of existent musical acervate in Maceio, as well as the rising on the history of the Brazilian Popular Music, showing the relevance of the Music while information. This way, the precedents were presented on the popular music from Alagoas, and its main musicians that today represent our state in the country. The musical in the folguedos of the earth is evidenced as one of the main sources of the popular found in the rootses of the music in Alagoas. Thus, they were studied two institutions that protect acervate of music from Alagoas, and they disseminate the musical information inside of the state. The Institutional Biography done in Servico Social do Comercio de Alagoas – SESC-AL demonstrates the current concern in to perpetuate the sound registrations and to turn them accessible to the public. Already the analysis accomplished in Museu da Imagem e do Som de Alagoas - MISA, shows that the institution, besides possessing a small acervate of regional music, doesn't preserve the musical memory as it would owe, therefore they lack resources to structure the existent acervate. Therefore, the acervate of sound registrations, approached in this work, needs to be preserved and conserved while musical memory from Alagoas.
