Resumo

Bor-muda triangle: The first representative of a new type of boron cation is formed as the product of the reaction between B2Cl2(NMe2)2 and the guanidine derivative hppH (see scheme). The BB bond length is typical for a single bond, and both boron atoms and the hpp nitrogen atoms bound directly to them form a trigonal prism.
