ResumoUsing a small special purpose computer (DADTA) a series of multiple choice problems was presented to a group of twenty lobotomized subjects and their matched controls. The problems were similar to those given in a previous experiment to monkeys with frontal lesions. Human problem solving just as monkeys' was found markedly impaired by the frontal surgery, although some differences between its effects on man and beast were also noted.
