ResumoSickle cell anemia is a multisystem disease that can affect the oral region. This article reviews previously reported oral complications associated with this disease and describes the cause of these problems. A case history describes a patient with multiple oral problems after a sickle cell crisis. The diagnostic and management problems of this case are highlighted.
