Helena Carvalhão Buescu, when analyzing the fantastic tale by Alexandre Herculano "A Dama Pé-de-Cabra", is guided, among other parameters, by the relationship between predation and domesticity, extracted from the hunter-hunted theme implicated in the narrative. Considering the reflections raised by Buescu article, especially as regards the question of the allegorical dimension of the story and the theme of domesticity emphasized there, we seek also reflect tangentially to this proposal on a relevant aspect contained in the narrative structure: an alternation between the danger arising on the internal (or domestic) and the external (or foreign) contexts.
