Resumo

Ores occur in three layers in Precambrian phyllite. Detailed mineragraphic study indicates that they are mainly pyrolusite, cryptomelane, and polianite, with minor manganite, all primarily colloform. Braunite occurs in noncolloform and massive ore. On the basis of mineralogy and textures, the ores are classed as primary (metamorphic),deep secondary, and lateritic.
