Three patients with lesions of the cauda equina producing disorders of micturition without any other neurological symptoms are reported; in 2 the lesion was an ependymoma of the filum terminale, and in one an angio-lipoma. The importance of recognising a neurological lesion when only urological symptoms are present is stressed.
