ResumoChromatographic investigation of alkaloid fraction from the roots of Aquilegiu jormosu Fisch. (Ranunculuceae) revealed the presence of five alkaloidal spots. Two of them were identified as magnoflorine and berberine. A thin-layer chromatographic procedure was developed which effectively separated berberine, palmatine, and jatrorrhizine.
