ResumoAt the post mortem examination of a Saddle-billed Stork which died at the London Zoological Gardens, filarial worms were found in the heart and pulmonary artery. These parasites were forwarded for identification to Prof. R. T. Leiper, to whom I am indebted for the opportunity of examining and reporting upon the filariid and for assistance regarding the relevant literature.
