Synthesis and characterization of novel inorganic/organometallic compounds

Resumo

The addition of two Ag⊕ ions to a basic metal center has been achieved by reaction of CF3SO3Ag with the Lewis base mer-[IrH3(PPh3)3]. The stable title compound thereby formed—the cation of which (without H atoms) is shown on the right—exhibits dynamic behavior at room temperature according to an NMR investigation.
