Resumo

Este artigo examina o romance de estreia do escritor judeu brasileiro Moacyr Scliar, A Guerra no Bom Fim, de 1972, buscando demonstrar que seus principais temas, bem como o tratamento dado a eles na escritura ficcional, sao a genese do temario predominante no restante de sua obra de tematica judaica. “The War in Bom Fim” and the Bom Fim of the shtetl: the origin of the predominant set of themes in the works of Moacyr Scliar - Abstract: This paper examines the first published novel by Moacyr Scliar, a Jewish Brazillian writer, A Guerra no BomFim (The War at Bom Fim), 1972, claming that its main themes and the fictional treatment given to them are the genesis of the dominant theme in his upcoming novels of Jewish thematic.
