ResumoSurgical and endovascular treatment of aortic diseases greatly depends on accurate preoperative imaging. Furthermore, intraoperative assessment of endovascular device placement requires exact delineation of the aortic pathology and landmarks on which surgical strategies are based. This article describes the technical considerations of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance angiography, and spinal computed tomography angiography as well as the clinical implementation.
