As mensagens sobre a água no telejornal da EPTV

ResumoThe present study analyzes the Jornal Regional (JR) from EPTV (Emissoras Pioneiras de Televisao – Pioneer Broadcasting Television Stations), Campinas-SP. The intention was to study water messages and representations on JR, this program is the regional audience leader in TV news. Three consecutive months of JR’s programming were monitored, we selected for quantitative and qualitative analysis reports with references to water. From this material, we found out that, in the messages of the JR, the water is regarded as merchandise, being its availability a result of resources management and disconnected from its natural conditions and environmental function.
