Resumo

The huckleberry shrub has been subjected to chemical investigation, and several constituents were isolated among which oleanolic and ursolic acids, β-amyrin, myrtillol, and nonacosane were identified. Several fat acids, plant acids, tannins, and sugars were also identified. Hydroquinone, but not arbutin, could be detected.
