Resumo

Abstract The rates of electron transfer between the dioxoactinide ions (UO 2 2+ , NpO 2 2+ and PuO 2 2+ ) and the 4,4′-dipropylsulfonate-2,2′-bipyridium radical anion (ZV − ) were determined by pulse radiolysis. The measured rate parameters are compared with those predicted by the Marcus relation using the known reduction potentials and self exchange rate parameters for UO 2 2+ and NpO 2 2+ .
