Resumo

Reaction-based sensing: A fluorescent probe for the detection of hydrogen sulfide was prepared and evaluated on the basis of H2S-mediated benzodithiolone formation. The probe showed good selectivity and sensitivity for hydrogen sulfide. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as "Supporting Information".
