ResumoAs metaxenic diseases (transmitted by vectors) in the human population are known: dengue, malaria, tripanosomiasis, leishmaniasis, among others. What they have in common is that they are transmitted by an insect and, in some cases, more specifically by mosquitoes. Endemic areas in Venezuela for these diseases are identified with geographic spaces with amounts of precipitation and air temperature that favour, among other factors, the presence of the disease. Some study projections on climate change indicate, on the order hand, the plausibility of an increase in air temperature, that would be between 1oC and 3oC, for the Alonnext decades. When reviewing and comparing exploratorily geographic spaces with values of present and future air temperature in the Northern-Centre region of the country, results suggested the incorporation of new geographic areas, presenting favourable conditions for the location of the vectors, that coincided with spaces where great amount of centres of population and cities in Venezuela are located.
