Resumo

Abstract The case of a chylous cervical fistula detected immediately after radical neck dissection is presented. The flow and metabolic derangements secondary to depletion of fluid, electrolytes, and protein required the ligation of the thoracic duct at the thoracic cavity. The various possible treatments of chylous fistula are reviewed.
