AbstractCauses of fetal ascites are reviewed, and 3 new cases are reported. A protocol is suggested for intrauterine investigation of the spectrum of diseases causing fetal ascites. There is some overlap with causes of hydrops fetalis.Key Words: asciteshydropsfetal diseasesabnormalities
