Universidad Católica de Chile. His research focuses on twentieth-century popular and concert music in Chile. He has co-authored several books, including two volumes of Historia social de la música popular en Chile (2005, 2009) with Claudio Rolle, En busca de la música chilena (2005) with José Miguel Varas, and Cantus firmus: mito y narrativa de la música chilena de arte del siglo XX (2011) with Rafael Díaz. Sebastián Zubieta is Director of Music and Music Editor of Review at the Americas Society
