ResumoThe strongly bent triple-decker structure shown on the right is exhibited by the anion in [Cp3Cs2][PPh4], which is obtained as a red crystalline compound by the reaction of CpCs with PPh4Cl. The coordination sphere of the Cs cation is filled by additional intermolecular interactions with neighboring [Cp3Cs2]+ ions and [PPh4]− ions.
