Resumo

1. Why is this morbidity so infrequently reported in clinical investigations of H&N cancer, and so rarely discussed in oncologic textbooks? 2. Do radiation oncologists, either in academic centers or in practice, evaluate patients for this problem despite the paucity of publicity about it, because they logically extrapolate to this clinical arena what they have learned from managing patients with Hodgkin’s disease?
