He studied medicine and, in part chemistry, at the Universities of Leipzig and Halle, and obtained the medical full approbation in 1973 and the M.D. degree in 1974 (neurophysiology and neuropharmacology). He spent the following years in seoeral theoretical institutes and the Department of Internal Medicine of the Psychiatric Hosptial of Leipzig; pharmacologist and toxicologist education and degree in 1978; D.Sc. in 1981 (biomathematics in drug design). He is Head of the Research Group for Pharmacochemistry of the University of Leipzig. Dr. Mager is the author of over 140 articles published in oarious professional periodicals and books, and holds membership in seoeral scientific societies. His main research activity lies in the areas of multivariate statistics and design applied to pharmacochernistry, QSAR, applied system fheory and rhythms, and toxicology.Search for more papers by this author Peter P.
