This paper studies the institution of the State of the First Portuguese Republic ( October 1910 - May 1926) . We begin with a dimension often marginalized : the relationship between the Portuguese Republic and the foreign political organizations , in particular England . We'll look at the functioning of State institutions of the 1st Republic , then examine the relationship between the state and estate people.
