Resumo

47 meteorological stations from Portugal have been analyzed using temperature and rain data for the period 1931-1960. The most usual bioclimate Indices in phytosociology and the Montero de Burgos & Gonzalez Rebollar's bioclimatic intensities have been calculated, including the bioclimatic and ombrothermic diagrams for a few of them. Both parameters have been analyzed separately by multivariate analysis and compared with the Portugal bioclimatic belts. Results show less predictive value for the Montero de Burgos & Gonzalez Rebollar's bioclimatic indices in discriminating the bioclimatic belts than those of Rivas Martinez. A computer program for calculating bioclimatic Indices and diagrams is presented.
