This paper aims to analyze the Politics of Solidarity Economy City of Recife, since its formation in 2000 until 2012. Specifically aims to analyze the results obtained in productive groups supportive of the district of Santo Amaro. Using qualitative methodology and case study method, permeated by semi-structured interviews with members of groups supportive and productive public managers, shows the formation process of the policy, legal framework and agenda problemas. Neste sense, it is concluded that the results of this socioeconomic public action to productive groups analyzed in Santo Amaro, yet ensure expanded reproduction of life.
