Resumo

We are in control. Rational-based structural modifications of tetracycline derivatives that can act as selective inducers of the transactivating proteins rtTA-1/2 and rtTA-D have been carried out. These modifications led to a novel two-stage regulatory system in which two separate genes can be regulated by using the selective inducers 9-dipropylaminodoxycycline (1) and doxycycline (dox).
