ResumoABSTRACT The Gen-Probe amplified Mycobacterium tuberculosis direct test can give discrepant results directly in respiratory or cultured samples from patients infected with Mycobacterium celatum , leading to inappropriate therapy for, in our case, an immunocompetent patient.
