Una cuestión fundamental en la obra de Raimundo Lulio Liber disputationis Petri et Raimundi es el sentido del término phantasticus, que es el subtítulo de la obra y que utilizan los dos interlocutores como reproche recíproco. Vamos a intentar esclarecer los matices que encierra para llegar a ver cómo lo entiende, o, diríamos más exactamente, cómo lo hace entender el escritor a cada uno de los dos, y cómo se diferencia según sea que se diga o que se reciba el insulto. Esperamos que estas líneas contribuyan a caracterizar más estas dos personalidades.A major topic in RaimundoLulio’s Liber disputationis Petri et Raimundi is the meaning of the term phantasticus, that not only constitutes the work’s subtitle but is often used by both speakers as a matter of reciprocal rebuke. The analysis of both the successive contexts in which it is used and of the other accompanying words -considering which speaker, either Raimundo or the priest, uses them- contributes to clarifying the various connotations of the term.
