ResumoSilver nanorods have been prepared by an electrochemical technique from an aqueous solution of AgNO3 in the presence of polyethylene glycol (PEG). The silver nanorods were characterized by using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and absorption spectroscopy. It was found that the concentration of AgNO3 and PEG affected the formation of the nanorods.
