ResumoThe paper gathers together the various results and methods used in an elementary algebraic and topological study of electrical networks. Considerations are restricted to networks containing a finite number of lumped resistors, capacitors and self and mutual inductors. The result is a connected logical presentation leading, by use of the concepts of incidence, loop and cut-set matrices, to the corresponding nodal, loop and cut-set analysis methods.
