ResumoThe Gladstone–Dale relationship allows one to derive a compatibility index of the physical and chemical data used to characterize a mineral. Minerals of the following groups are reviewed: carbonates, sulfates, phosphates, vanadates, vanadium oxysalts, chromates, molybdates, tungstates, germanates, iodates, nitrates, oxalates, antimonites, antimonates, sulfites, halides, and borates. The mineral species in the Fair, Poor and Incomplete categories in these groups require further study.
