Resumo

Ag octahedron nanoparticles are assembled with graphene oxide (GO) sheets to form Ag octahedron@GO hybrids. Owing to the excellent chemical enhancement of GO, single particle SERS demonstrates an enhancement factor of 9 × 10 5 , which is twice as large as that of a pure octahedron.
