Geological formations and processes

A map and a short description of the geomorphic and Quaternary features in the area of Lofoten - Vesteralen, North Norway, is presented. The article gives a general survey of the distribution of the paleic surface, slopes and pronounced cirques, the strandflat area, and Quaternary deposits. The inventory may be of use in general planning work.
