RESUMO: Este texto debate como o aprofundamento do projeto neoliberal por parte do governo Lula e do PT incidiram no campo das politicas publicas de esporte. A conversao do Partido dos Trabalhadores ao projeto neoliberal sera debatida a partir dos rumos e projetos do primeiro Governo Lula. Para tal serao considerados aspectos acerca do programa Segundo Tempo do Ministerio do Esporte, tendo como fonte de pesquisa documentos oficiais do Ministerio, bem como dos executores do Programa. THE CALLING THIRD SECTOR IS PLAYING: PUBLICS POLICIES OF SPORTS OF LULA’S GOVERNMENT AND THIRD WAY’S NEOLIBERAL PROJECT ABSTRACT: The aim of this text is discusses the how the Lula’s and PT Governments represent the continuality of neoliberal project in Brazil and its consequence of publics policies of sports. The consequence of PT’s transformation in a neoliberal party will be discuss, principally the projects and actions of first Lula’s Government. Our principal focus will be the Program “Segundo tempo” from Sports Ministry.
